Terms and Conditions

By booking a service with Pumpkin Porch Designers, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Payment and Booking Options

Upfront Payment: Full payment is collected at checkout when you purchase your design package. No booking slots are reserved, and no inventory is allocated, until full payment is successfully processed.

2. Live Agricultural Product Disclaimer

Natural Variations: Pumpkins, gourds, and mums are live agricultural products. You acknowledge that items will vary naturally in size, shape, color, and texture from the photos displayed on our website.
Property Hazards: Pumpkin Porch Designers is not liable for structural stains, concrete discoloration, or porch damage caused by the natural decomposition of rotting pumpkins, bleeding pumpkin juices, or damp hay bales. We highly recommend placing protective barriers underneath displays if your stone or wood porch is highly sensitive.

3. Wildlife and Pest Damage

No Wildlife Guarantees: While our packages include an eco-safe pest repellent application, wild animals (squirrels, deer, chipmunks, mice) love pumpkins. Pumpkin Porch Designers gives zero guarantees against wildlife damage or animal chewing once we leave your property. Replacement pumpkins must be purchased separately at retail price plus a delivery fee.

4. Property Access and Safety

Installation Window: You do not need to be home for your installation. However, you must provide safe, unlocked, and unobstructed access to your front porch or entryway during your scheduled delivery window.
Safety Interference: All pets must be safely secured indoors during our installation. If our design team encounters aggressive animals, loose dogs, locked gates, or hostile property conditions, the service will be immediately cancelled, and your payment will be completely forfeited.

5. Intellectual Property and Media Usage

Design Media: Pumpkin Porch Designers reserves the right to take photographs and video recordings of our completed installations on your property. These assets remain our exclusive intellectual property and may be used for marketing, social media portfolio, and advertising. We promise to never publicly display your house number, full street name, or family names.

Return and Refund Policy

Because Pumpkin Porch Designers sources and purchases custom wholesale agricultural inventory from local farms weeks in advance specifically for your order, we enforce a strict policy to protect our tight seasonal calendar and operations.

1. No Cash Refunds / All Sales Final

Once a package is purchased and your installation date is locked in on our calendar, all sales are final.
No cash, credit card, or electronic refunds will be issued under any circumstances for client cancellations, change of mind, or property changes.

2. Package Transfer Option (Gift to Friend or Family)

If you cannot fulfill your scheduled installation date or no longer require the service, you may transfer your purchased package to a friend, neighbor, or family member entirely free of charge.
Transfer Requirements:
- The new property address must fall within our designated Maryland service area.
- You must notify us via email or our contact form at least 7 days prior to your originally scheduled installation date with the new recipient's name, phone number, email address, physical address, and porch photos.

3. Weather and Rescheduling

Weather Delays: Autumn weather in Maryland can be unpredictable. In the event of torrential downpours, high winds, frost warnings, or severe storms, Pumpkin Porch Designers reserves the right to safely reschedule your installation to the next available clear day.
Weather-related safety delays do not qualify for a cancellation, discount, or refund.
Client Rescheduling: If you need to change your installation date to another open slot on our current seasonal calendar, you must notify us at least 7 days in advance. We will do our absolute best to accommodate you subject to our tight calendar availability, but we cannot guarantee open alternate dates.

4. Final Approval and Longevity Policy

Acceptance upon Delivery: We meticulously inspect, select, and wipe down every pumpkin for top-tier quality before it places on your porch. By accepting the completed design on your installation day, you agree that the display meets our luxury design standards.
All Sales Final Post-Installation: Pumpkins, gourds, and florals are live, perishable agricultural items. Their lifespan depends entirely on local Maryland weather conditions, direct sun exposure, moisture levels, and neighborhood wildlife.
Pumpkin Porch Designers is not responsible for natural deterioration, rot, melting, color fading, or animal damage once our team departs your property. No post-installation replacements, refunds, or visual modifications will be provided.
